Welcome to the 21st ANNUAL CEFIC-LRI WORKSHOP & AWARD CEREMONY registration page
The Long-Range Research Initiative Program (LRI) of the European Chemical Industry Council (Cefic) is organizing its 21st Annual Workshop & Award Ceremony on 20-21 November 2019 in Brussels, Belgium.
This workshop is an opportunity to hear from LRI-funded breakthrough research in chemical risk assessment, with an exclusive session on "Addressing microplastic risk assessment: where next?" .
The event will start on the evening of November 20 at the Steigenberger Wiltcher's Hotel with a poster session. A Red-Carpet Gala Dinner for the 2019 LRI Innovative Science Award ceremony will follow, during which the 2018 winner will present the findings of its research and this year's € 100,000 award winner will be revealed.
On Thursday, November 21st, the workshop will focus on the subject of exposure and exposure in human health (exposure modeling and assessment, in-vitro concentrations, carcinogen thresholds, etc.) and environmental (bioaccumulation, water solubility , adaptation of microbial communities, etc.) risk assessment.
The draft program is available here
Registration to the CEFIC-LRI WORKSHOP is free.
The Cefic-LRI workshop is a must-wait event for the human health and environmental toxicology community showcasing the latest advances made by industry-funded research. It is an excellent networking opportunity for all scientists committed to work together towards the common goal of chemical safety.
The Cefic-LRI Workshop is where the chemical risk assessment priorities of industry, academia and regulatory institutions meet. Secure your spot!
